TONI’s Bird Control Training contains the Online Training and My Documents Modules:
The Online Training Module is built as an e-learning application so that BCU Staff can continue learning as time and schedule allow. The training follows international standards for the aviation industry, as we draw the information for our Training Module from agencies including the International Bird Strike Committee (IBSC), International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), and Airports Council International (ACI).
The Online Training Module comprises the following areas:
- Bird Control Standards
- Bird Control Equipment
- Bird Identification
- Commercial Airplane Identification
- Risk Assessment for your airport
- BCU Routines
The My Documents Module is where participants can access tests, view their test scores, and obtain training certificates. Testing is very important not only to ensure information comprehension, but also to demonstrate that comprehension to supervisors and other staff. TONI’s tests are structured to ensure that staff members work through the program in detail, and that once finished, all who have completed the program possess the same high level of understanding.
The My Documents Module includes the following areas:
- Tests
- Scores
- Certificates
